From ports and sawmills to demolition sites, recycling facilities and steel mills, the SENNEBOGEN portfolio demonstrates how modern material handling technology can deliver higher handling capacity, lower fuel consumption and reliable performance in demanding applications. Recent jobsite reports from across Europe highlight the versatility of both the Green Line material handlers and the Multi Line telehandlers.
Ports: handling capacity doubled with reduced consumption
In the United Kingdom, the Port of Sutton Bridge has nearly doubled its annual material handling volumes with the SENNEBOGEN 865 E Hybrid, while at the same time reducing fuel consumption by 27%. The hybrid material handler has proven its efficiency in daily port operations, combining high performance with lower operating costs.
The outstanding service provided by SENNEBOGEN’s local sales and service partner Molson was a key factor in the decision to order a second, identical material handler, further strengthening the port’s handling capacity.

Timber: log processing with Pick & Carry handling machines
Also in the United Kingdom, Pontrilas Sawmills, a family-owned company located in the west of England, processes around 400,000 tons of round timber annually. With more than 70 years of experience, the company ranks among the largest sawmills in the country.
To handle the often demanding timber volumes, Pontrilas relies on three SENNEBOGEN 730 E Pick & Carry timber handling machines. The machines have proven highly successful in daily operations, supporting efficient and reliable log processing.

Demolition: versatile performance on site
In Germany, during the demolition of an old supermarket in Hunderdorf, the construction company Stoabau relied on the powerful SENNEBOGEN 830 E Demolition Vario Tool. Equipped with new digging equipment, versatile attachments and a high degree of flexibility, the machine mastered all demolition and follow-up work efficiently and economically.
From selective demolition to foundation removal, the 830 E demonstrated its suitability for complex demolition projects.

Scrap: new generation material handler tested in the field
In the Czech Republic, SENNEBOGEN is expanding its portfolio with the new generation of the 830 G material handler. The machine impresses above all with its comfort, ergonomics and user-friendliness.
TSR Czech Republic s.r.o., a leading scrap dealer headquartered in Prague, had the opportunity to test the machine extensively at its site in Pilsen, gaining hands-on experience with the capabilities of the latest generation.

Scrap logistics in steel production
In Italy, the SENNEBOGEN 850 G has been part of the fleet at the Ferriere Nord steelworks since April 2025. As a manufacturer of reinforcing steel and wire products, Pittini depends on high-performance technology, particularly in scrap logistics, where several hundred tons have to be moved every day.
The company chose a customized machine of the latest generation, supplied by SENNEBOGEN’s long-standing sales partner Cesaro Mac Import, to meet these demanding requirements.

Multi Line: telehandlers for recycling applications
Alongside its material handlers, SENNEBOGEN is also strengthening its Multi Line portfolio with powerful industrial telehandlers designed for heavy-duty applications in recycling and waste management.
Recycling: SENNEBOGEN 360 G at REMONDIS
In Germany, the SENNEBOGEN 360 G has been playing a central role in daily waste processing operations at REMONDIS in Erftstadt since spring 2025. The industrial telehandler is being tested to support the entire process chain.
Its tasks range from pushing delivered household and bulky waste onto the conveyor belt and feeding it into the bag opener, to loading secondary fuels (SBS), demonstrating its versatility in recycling operations.

Heavy-duty use with significantly reduced fuel consumption
Also in Germany, a trial run of the SENNEBOGEN 360 G telehandler at B.E.B. bewegt, a company of Berk Recycling GmbH, highlighted the machine’s performance in everyday handling operations.
The compact and well-designed telehandler impressed particularly with its cycle times and fuel consumption, saving almost 50% fuel while proving its strengths in heavy-duty use.

A comprehensive portfolio for modern material handling
Across a wide range of industries, the SENNEBOGEN portfolio shows how efficient design, powerful performance and user-focused features translate into measurable benefits on site. From material handlers to telehandlers, the machines are designed to meet the challenges of modern material handling with reliability and efficiency.
