  • Zero emission solutions and products as the highlights at the booth
  • Samoter Innovation Award for new TH412e electric telehandler
  • Innovative products such as the new EW100 wheeled excavator

Wacker Neuson is again participating in the Samoter trade fair, an international trade exhibition for earth moving and construction machines in Verona, Italy, that takes place from May 3-7, 2023. The focus at the Wacker Neuson booth C11-C12 in hall 9 lies on the innovative products and solutions for the zero emission construction site as well as powerful excavators. “The Samoter trade fair is a great opportunity for us to show our products and solutions and exchange with our customers”, says Georg Jung, Managing Director Wacker Neuson Italy. “The focus is on our zero emission solutions, which already allow an inner-city construction site to be operated extremely quietly and without direct exhaust emissions. We are particularly pleased that our first electric telehandler TH412e has won the Samoter Innovation Award 2023. This clearly underlines the innovative character of our new machine. We invite all visitors to Samoter to come to our booth and take a closer look.”

Zero emission solutions at a glance

The new TH412e electric telehandler impresses with its lifting height at the hinge pin height of 4.5 meters and is a useful addition to the zero emission portfolio. The telehandler will be available from autumn 2023. Its compact design enables it to work in confined spaces without local emissions. In addition, the third generation of the WL20e e-loader with a powerful lithium-ion battery and the proven EZ17e electric mini-excavator will be on display at Samoter, as well as two electric track dumpers. For soil compaction, one highlight is the battery-powered reversible battery plate APU3050e with the DireX direct drive that was developed by Wacker Neuson and ensures efficiency and long runtimes. To complete the zero emission portfolio, various battery-powered rammers and plates as well as the internal vibrator system will be shown, too.

EW100: a new era of wheeled excavators

The Wacker Neuson EW100 wheeled excavator is unique in its class and sets new benchmarks. The construction site 4.0 was in focus while developing the machine: intelligent Attachment Management, a well thought-out Human-Machine-Interface, and the preparation for diverse assistance systems and interfaces are just a few examples. When changing attachments, the machine assists the operator by adjusting the hydraulic oil flow to the preset tool according to the selection made on the 10-inch touchscreen display. In addition, the excavator excels in the area of safety thanks to good visibility and a high level of stability, even when rotating 360 degrees with a raised load. Furthermore, the development of the excavator focused on user-friendliness and efficiency: Thus, thanks to the powerful drive hydraulics and the high work performance, the EW100 can also be used to complete tasks which would otherwise require a 14-ton excavator.

EZ50 and EZ26: compact and powerful excavators

High performance, compact dimensions, comfortable operation: these are the demands being put on excavators of this class. With the tracked Zero Tail excavator EZ50, Wacker Neuson offers the ideal combination of these requirements. The powerful drive allows customers to deploy the machines for demanding tasks as well. The wide-opening covers make access to all service points easier, which results in less downtime and thus cost savings. The 3-point kinematics provide higher bucket rotation angle and bring the reach and digging depth of the machine to a maximum. Besides the Zero Tail excavator EZ50, visitors to Samoter will have the chance to see the new model of the proven Zero Tail excavator EZ26. The machine impresses with its very low weight, which allows it to be transported on a 3.5-ton trailer, despite even higher output, and high lifting capacity. The excavator can optimally work in confined spaces and, as a result, guarantees a high degree of maneuverability and economy of time. Up to six auxiliary control circuits and a load-sensing hydraulic system guarantee precise control. The excavator offers a good view thanks to the jog dial operation and a large display. The operator has a good overview of the machine surroundings due to the improved line-of-sight.

Visitors can also expect to find a variety of construction site equipment that will make their day-to-day work easier. This includes rammers, vibratory plates, gasoline breakers and concrete technology products such as internal and external vibrators.
