Japanese manufacturer to showcase its latest construction machinery at French exhibition on 24-27 April 2024. Kobelco Construction Machinery Europe B.V. (KCME), wholly owned by Kobelco Construction Machinery Co., Ltd. Japan and dedicated to the sales and service of crawler excavators, demolition excavators and crawler cranes, announces today to be heading to the Intermat exhibition at Paris-Nord Villepinte in April. Kobelco has always enjoyed a strong dealer presence in France, enabling it to service its customers across the mainland as well as associated territories.

With Intermat providing an ideal opportunity to reveal new machines to the public, the centre stage on the KCME stand will be taken by the all-new SK520LC-11E which is expected to be the star of the show as it makes its European debut. The Kobelco giant, which is best suited to general construction and quarrying, has a higher operating weight for improved stability, and increased bucket and arm force for better overall lifting performance.

Also in the heavy category, the SK350LC-11E is guaranteed to be a popular attraction. Like all Kobelco’s Generation 11 machines, the SK350LC-11E follows the Performance x Design concept, boasting an excellent standard in cabin design, ergonomics, comfort and safety.

KCME’s 1,500m2 stand will also feature an area dedicated to Kobelco’s Short Radius (SR) excavators, including the all-new SK380SRLC-7, the SK230SRLC-7 (two-piece boom), multipurpose ED160BR-7 Blade Runner and SK140SRLC-7 Side Drain. SR machines are ideal for operators working on urban and residential jobsites as they benefit from a smaller working footprint, which means that they can access tighter areas.

Since their launch in 2019, Kobelco’s versatile midi excavators have been demonstrating their superior performance, greater efficiency and productivity on jobsites all over the world, reinforcing their position as leaders in the mid-range category. The SK75SR-7 Side Drain and the SK85MSR-7 (two-piece boom) will both be displayed at Intermat. Frequently used for landscaping, utilities and small construction projects, mini excavators are key to Kobelco’s overall product line-up and are particularly popular in France due to increased demand for ongoing roadworks and utility maintenance. With this in mind, the KCME stand will also present several mini excavators at Intermat, including the SK58SRX-7, recently released SK39SR-7, SK28SR-7 and SK26SR-7 models, plus the SK17SR-3E and SK10SR-2E.

In addition, the Kobelco Cranes team will also look forward to showcasing one of their latest models at Intermat. More details will follow when available.

KCME Managing Director, Makoto Kato, said: “We are excited to return to Intermat this year – France is a particularly important country for KCME and we are proud to be able to support our dealers and customers by investing in this event for a third consecutive time.

“2023 was also an important year for KCME as we celebrated our 10th anniversary in Europe and announced our expansion into new, larger purpose-built headquarters. Intermat 2024 kick-starts another busy year for Kobelco and further underlines our ongoing commitment to the whole region. We can’t wait to meet with all our dealers, customers and suppliers and tell them more about our plans for 2024!”
