The Saviola Group, a leading player in the circular economy, inaugurates its participation in the 28th edition of Ecomondo with a significant statistic: the increase in tonnes of post-consumer wood recovered and reused as raw material for the production of the Pannello Ecologico®, a symbol of quality and design combined with the Group’s environmental commitment.
Driving this growth is Savionet, the Business Unit dedicated to environmental services, which in recent years has consolidated its presence in Italy and Europe. Today, the network counts 39 companies and 44 collection sites, with a recovery capacity reaching 1.65 million tonnes of post-consumer wood (+10%), supported by more than 130 operating machines.
Savionet, in addition to the collection and management of post-consumer wood, offers a full range of environmental services: from the collection of clippings, prunings and greenery to the cleaning of riverbeds, sandy shores and forests; from the management of solid urban waste and sludge to the brokerage and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous plastic waste. These are complemented by products such as biofilters, compost, operating machines, pellets, lime, CSS and solutions for generating energy from biomass.
